"By the Nine, where are we?"

Daenfyr and Zin'k questing.
As per usual, this is a Studio Ghibli-style drawing of an event in Skyrim... well, one which WOULD happen if there was multiplayer.

Daenfyr is a Nord, I do believe and part of the Companions, hence the eyes. Zin'k is just an elf Nightingale.

Where are these two gonna end up next?

Judging by her map reading, probably not where they wanted!

Hmmm... Well, if her map reading skills venture into the Ryouga Hibiki scale of things, they might just end up wandering into The Old Republic. That'd be funny.

I'm full of ideas. Some of them are even good ideas.

I doubt that there would be a multiplayer. The game engine is simply not made that way.

Regarding the actual duo presented:I'm going to ship them!

I mean, they look like they would make such a good couple! A "angry, constantly bickering, NO, I AM NOT LISTENING TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING ABOUT YOUR MOTHER BECAUSE THIS HAGRAVEN WANTS TO CLAW MY EYES OUT" couple.

They would be sooo cute.

It would probably be awkward considering that these are more direct representation of yourself and a friend of yours.

But this ship must sail! Because inappropriate and awkward shipping is the best shipping! :D

An old married couple, you mean? I have a mini story with the two of them in which, in order to survive, he has to eat her arm, then he makes up for it by getting her a magic Dwemer arm instead...

I was bored that day.

My friend and I are sometimes like an old married couple with a bit of madness thrown in as well, anyway! So not too awkward. Haha, ship it!

Not necessarily like an old couple, but where the two characters don't quite want to openly admit their feelings (especially to themselves) but still want to act on them. The type where they don't want to call each other your typical cutesy names ("my little sugar!"), but instead just exchange insults. Awkward, adventuring romance semi-often interrupted by the actual dangers of adventuring and of course, hot, steamy sex! PAGES and pages of sex, with twelve inch penises and feelings in the tummies!

Well, actually no. I'd like to ship them (a dovahkiin couple has a little potential) and write a story, but I'm working on something else right now.

I don't know about the dwemer-arm thing. I have a hard time figuring out a situation where an arm would be needed to be legitimately sacrificed.

Yeah, insulting each other is great!

Oh, god... not pages and pages, please!

Well, you know when you transform into a werewolf, you have to consume the flesh of your victims in order to regain your health? Well, I had a situation where he had been whacked fairly heftily by a dragon and the dragon had ripped off the woman's arm during the battle, so he ate the arm for strength, then destroyed the dragon with a big Fus Roh Dah.

That actually makes sense. In that case, I have a difficult time imagining that Zin'k could do anything with the arm anyway, restoration magic or no. Yet still making a fuss over "you ate my arm, you goddamn freak!".

I actually have problems with the dwemer arm thing. Canon-wise, there is nothing like that and I imagine that even if the Dwemer could build such elaborate prosthetics, those wouldn't survive well or anybody have any idea how to adopt them to a new user.

Actually, it would make a nice romance browny-point if Daenfry would ask a Deadric Prince for an arm (knowing full well how dangerous it is to ask favours from said princes). Heh, maybe a dremora's arm? :D It would still be a plus in the sense that unlike a dwemer arm, it would still have skin and whatnot (plus, might be easier with the pickpocketing and lockpicking than an unfeeling, attention-grabbing, mechanical arm).

As for the pages and pages, I was mostly joking. Actually, the whole "threat" of writing a ship-fic is a semi-joke, although there is a lot of fun to be had with the idea and if I had the time, I'd definitely write it.

Well, after the whole "you are my arm, you monster" conversation, she asks whether she tasted nice, so it's all fun and games... until the arm gets damaged, which it probably will.

No, there's nothing like that but if you can create a defence bot out of ancient bits of metal and shove a soul gem in there and make it work, hey, I'm sure it's possible to give someone an arm. It was either that or an ethereal one but that might be a bit strange - more believable, I guess, but... where would you buy a "summon arm" spell?

Oh, yeah, he could ask Sheogorath to Wabbajack my metal arm in the hope of getting a normal one in return! Maybe that's a good way to get the Daedric princes involved in the story, actually... Yes. I like your thinking! Though, if Zin'k did get a demon arm in return, it might just start taking her over.

What's a ship-fic? It's not the sort of thing that older, sad, single women write, is it?

Actually, I was thinking Clavious Vile. The whole "lost dog" thing, just with a whole lot humour ("Wait, this thing can cut down gods? How about stone? That too? Metal? *tests axe against enemy armour on which it goes through like a hot knife through butter* Wow! What I wouldn't have given for this when I was cutting firewood!" and a scene where Daenfyr tries to talk Barbas by going on all fours and imitating barking). Daenfyr would know about Clavious Vile's reputation (do not make deals with this one) but risks it anyway, making it a strong point that the new arm doesn't do anything funny ("I don't want any 'Oh, I just want to burrow a hand' or anything like that. Once it is given to her, it is hers.").

Of course, I would imagine that the arm would be torn from a dremora's (feminised). The arm itself is fairly neat, actually stronger than her "old" arm while still very steady for stuff like pickpocketing and lockpicking, and even seems to boosts Zin'K's magical abilities (I imagine that she uses conjuration to create a distraction and illusion to get away). The only "downside" is that it is clearly a dremora's arm (even if a bit feminised, to match her other, more normal arm). Daenfyr actually tries to argue with Barbas, who informs him that this isn't a trick: he just can't recreate the original arm because Daenfyr ate it. :D
I would imagine that Daenfyr actually brakes down a bit at this, to what Zin'k actually approaches and forgives him.

But meh, asking whether she tastes nice seems fun too :D

Ha, yeah, some good ideas there! I suppose Vile is the more likely of the Princes to actually do something stupid like that.

i have heard a rumor that they are atm creating a multiplayer possibility for 4 characters at most, but atm when they tested it all the other characters were seen only naked, so it still needs fixing... IMA PLAY SKYRIM SO HARD IF THEY GET THE MULTIPLAYER DONE :la:

I thought that was Assassin's Creed, not Skyrim. Well, I heard something about multiplayer for the new AC and four-player online co-op.

But, yeah, Skyrim multiplayer ftw.
